The provincial
government is in the process of passing Bill 101, the “Home Energy Rating
Act”. This act would require an energy audit for all homes being
sold and the report disclosed to prospective purchasers.
In keeping with
the current times we are announcing the start of our new Green program.
When you are planning your renovation, the government is offering financial
incentives, if you undertake certain recommended retrofits. We will
guide you through this process.
How much
can you save?
Every upgrade
will be different. Some examples are: New windows provide a rebate
of $80 each, Hot water heater is $ 200, Insulation $ 2,000, HVAC $ 1,500.
The list goes on. The energy audit will provide a detailed list of
rebates up to $10,000.00
How do we
get started?
We will make
all arrangements and guide you through the energy audit process.
The energy audit is performed by our government approved testing company,
takes about 2 to 3 hours and initially costs $ 350. The provincial
government is currently rebating $ 150 back, so the initial cost is $ 200.
We look forward
to speaking with you soon
Sincerely
Mark Madigan,
President |
